Pajama Partner Application

Pajama Program’s mission is to promote equitable access to healthy sleep so all children can thrive.  We provide both the physical materials for sleep, pajamas and a bedtime storybook, as well as an array of impactful educational programs for children and families across the country. Our work focuses on supporting children experiencing significant hardship, often associated with insecure/unsafe housing, low family income, abuse or neglect, foster care placement, or other situations that affect their well-being.

Community-based organizations that support children and their families experiencing poverty, and/or significant instability in their lives, such as familial or housing instability, are welcome to apply to become one of our Pajama Partners. As a Pajama Partner, organizations are able to receive donations of pajamas and/or books to distribute directly to children and families.

In order to become an official Pajama Program Pajama Partner for the 2025 – 2026 school year, this application must be submitted by July 15. Please complete all pages of this application and click SUBMIT on the final page.

Pajama Program will contact you after your information has been reviewed. We will receive a large number of applications, but will do our best to get back to you as soon as possible.

PART III:

HOW IT WORKS

Pajama Program purchases and/or receives in-kind items (new pajamas, new books) that it then in turn donates to its Pajama Partners for the purpose of achieving its mission. Apart from items purchased, Pajama Program receives these in-kind items from various sources, including but not limited to, individual, group, or corporate donors. An in-kind donation from Pajama Program to a Pajama Partner may be shipped directly from Pajama Program’s distribution center or other Pajama Program location, such as one of its three program Center locations, or it may be delivered from a donor or volunteer in close proximity to the Pajama Partner’s location. Please note that coordination efforts between Pajama Program and the Pajama Partner to deliver these in-kind donations are often managed by a volunteer or a singular staff person from Pajama Program—we are a small (but mighty!) team and appreciate your patience as we work to meet the needs of our community.

To receive a donation, a Pajama Partner must be able to:

  • Promptly respond to any communications from a Pajama Program representative regarding an available donation.
  • Accept the donation quantity and type (i.e., pajamas and/or books).
  • Accept the size and age range of the donation.
  • Securely store the donation, if necessary.
  • Arrange for adequate transportation to pick up the donation, if necessary.
On occasion, Pajama Partners may coordinate directly with donors to receive/pick up a donation. Pajama Partners must not solicit the donor directly for future donations.
